Independence measures the candidate’s degree of autonomy and self-sufficiency in performing their tasks. It considers the candidate’s tendency to please others, seek direction, get into the details, and roll up their sleeves.
A candidate’s work pace focuses on their approach to getting tasks and projects completed. It details the tradeoffs between moving quickly, considering risk, making decisions, and taking time to reflect.
